Arts mediation

With the experience and sensitivity
to support people
living with
mental health conditions

Would you like to create
a community space
for artistic creation
within your organisation?

I design and facilitate art workshops, visual arts labs and arts mediation programmes for social and cultural organisations working in the fields of mental health and psychosocial disability.

And now…

Would you like to make a real difference to the communication and wellbeing of people in vulnerable situations through artistic practice — or simply say that you do?

What difference do my workshops make?

So that your participants and professionals can experience real impact — the kind you can actually see, not just talk about.

For your participants:

  • A safe space for creating together, both within the organisation and beyond it.
  • Self-expression, autonomy, agency, initiative, self-awareness and confidence.
  • Everyone contributes according to their abilities and how they are feeling. We are not here to manufacture artists.
  • Sensitivity and listening, without paternalism — and with a fierce commitment to care.
  • Creativity, communication, dialogue and shared reflection.

«My purpose is to help
people make sure that not only
what they create,
but also how they create it,
matters».

For your professionals:

  • Artistic activities with clear objectives, methodology and qualitatively observable processes.
  • Creative work that can help professionals observe participation and change over time.
  • New approaches and working dynamics that can be incorporated into everyday practice.

For your organisation:

  • A genuinely artistic proposal — not an occupational activity disguised as art.
  • Mediation grounded in lived experience, sensitivity, knowledge, practice and professional judgement.
  • Active participation and community-building both within and beyond the organisation.
  • Outcomes and learning that can be communicated and transferred to other contexts.

A healthy part of me speaks to a healthy part of you

What people have said about my workshops and arts mediation:

We have to go and see the Chema Madoz exhibition together. After seeing it with Esther, I finally know what a visual metaphor is. I get it now, and it’s really cool. I’ve been painting in oils for years, but nobody talks to me about this kind of thing at my art school.

I didn’t know I could do this — or that what I made could have any value. I had never really drawn before, from life or otherwise.

I like it. At home, when I get bored, I pick up my sketchbook and draw. I concentrate so much. I don’t watch nearly as much TV anymore.

I never imagined I’d be able to draw a self-portrait with a Bic pen. I think it’s because nobody had ever told me before that I wouldn’t be able to do it.

My father didn’t want me to study Fine Arts, but I’m very creative and I love drawing. I hadn’t done it since then, and now you’re helping me feel like it can be easy again. I’m not going to do the self-portrait, but I can draw my ear.

Shall we activate this Hache
together and create a
powerful creative storm
for your participants or professionals?
